"Live in the United States" CD

Sikhara offers a live disc from the Oklahoma based Anti-Clock, featuring a live set captured in the pit of KFJC. Sikhara were joined for the occasion by Ethan Port of Savage Republic and Steve Mackay. Available in a limited edition of 125, the disc can be purchased by contacting the good people at Anti-clock.

Sets from the Bardos and Anduni tours are both showcased, both from live performances on sister stations KFJC and WFMU of California and New York respectively.

"IV War Haka" CD the new studio recording.

During the course of the “Anduni” tour, Sikhara took time at studios in upstate NY, Portland, OR, Berkeley, CA, and Porto, Portugal, to unite with collaborators old and new, endeavoring to create the new full length studio release. The sound remains distinctly Sikhara, but takes the band in a more organic direction, driven by acoustic drumming and live vocals. The album is a tale of war between two elements our global community divided by culture and technology.

"Trojstvo" DVD : 3 continents and 3 cds with Sikhara

Follow the nomadic, tribal ensemble SIKHARA on tour across 3 continents, performing material from each of their 3 albums.

Sikhara has always been foremost a live band and the visual spectacle that accompanies their music and the many lands they have wandered are documented in !TROJSTVO!

Music has always served as just one part of Sikhara's existence.

The disturbing image they create in concert transfers to dvd in a manner that will confound and disturb.

Lying within are video clips, concert footage, and interviews from Serbian tele-vision and a rare radio interview from September 10th 2001, that span Sikhara's 10 year existence and feature nearly ever member the band has had.

Since last year’s Euro-tour Sikhara have gained the support of the Los Angeles-based label URCK, who specialize in eastern/ethnic influenced experimental music. Their epic 2 cd set of “Post Asiatic” music is packed with luminaries from this quasi-genre including haunting throat singer Soriah, ex-Sleepytime Guerilla Museum percussionist Moe Staiano, the iconic Muslim Gauze, metal clanker Z’EV and countless others of the ilk.

High profile releases such as the URCK project, their collaboration album with Bastard Noise, their ever increasing radio airplay and the overwhelming response to their last round of touring has placed Sikhara in the top echelon of American oddities touring in Europe. The line-up for the current US tour will include at various points all the musicians featured on the new 'IV: War Haka' CD, drummer Sasha Drumure, guitarist and percussionist Ethan Port of Savage Republic in California, long time collaborator Jason Waugaman of GingGang in Portland and Seattle, drummer David Howard from New York, and drummers Gustavo Costa and Jonathan Saldanha from Portugal stand to join in at various locales as well

In addition to his efforts with Sikhara, Scott Nydegger works extensively as a booking agent, producer and label head for Radon. He has toured in Europe aside from Sikhara with Steve Mackay’s Radon Ensemble, the band of Iggy and the Stooges saxophone player, who recently recorded new tracks in Brussels with Kamilsky, Solar Skeletons and Mike Watt. He has repeatedly joined Damo Suzuki’s Network in rotating line-ups featuring Soopa, Barbez drummer Gustavo Costa and Massimo from Zu. In the studio, Nydegger has of late been in a hyper-productive co-production relationship with Jonathan Saldanha. The duo’s work has found its way to labels such as Beta Lactem Ring, Blossoming Noise and Fonoteca Lisboa His early work dates back to the late 90’s including an early USA is a Monster release, “Weedblood”.

The Radon label has executed discs for Mackay, the 30th Anniversary disc for seminal Portland ensemble Smegma and (r)’s “Humps”, , the debut solo cd of Larsen’s fabrizio Modonese Palumbo.
