Smokey and Willy-G started Signature back in 2000/01. An idea they had in a french lesson in school, year 11, age16, (having been inspired for a few years listening to tape packs, they wanted a piece of the action).
When the pair left school, they met D-Man, and he too was a young rebel, who was into mc'in (jungle and garage).They started mc'ing together and all clicked.Since then, they havn't looked back.
Well, to be honest, they have been extremely lazy (to much blazin bud). They have, however, done various gigs and support acts, and been very successful, but never been consistant enough.
D-Dubz, was a local producer and dj, from off D-Mans estate. They all knew of each other but never really linked up properly. When they did, BANG. Perfect combo.
The problem was, Signature had no dj at the start, so Smokey took control of the decks (doing a good job to), but he was itchin to mc aswell. So when D-Dubz came along, problem solved. New dj, new dubs and bringing with him, a bunch of heavy tunes he had been producing on the down low.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, we're here, we're there and we're gonna be everywhere! We ain't being lazy no more. We're sortin our heads out and comin' to take over. In the studio, in the raves, on the radio, or wherever!
