SideTrack Boyz is a unique R&B/POP vocal performance group, made up of three individually talented young men who sing, dance and put on an invigorating performance. Lonique, Wyane and Vaugn (Stephen) met as freshmen in the vocal department at Brooklyn High School of the Arts in 2004. After two years of School, they couldn't deny their budding creative energy. They knew they had chemistry and decided to form their own group, known as "SideTrack Boyz". Immediately, they began a rigorous schedule of vocal and dance rehearsals. Lonique, acting as SideTrack's choreographer, put together a routine and two weeks later they were prepared for their first show. The SideTrack Boyz has had many performances such as The Atlantic Antic, The Village Underground, Comedy Club, Maria Davis Showcase, The Sugar Bar, The Apollo Theater and The New York City Marathon. The guys have focused on charitable organizations because they want to help the less fortunate. With the Brooklyn Blizzards Youth Organization, they have entertained at many basketball tournaments, award ceremonies and other events that uplift and inform the youth. Through Volunteers of America and the Fresh Start Program, they are touring throughout the tri-state area performing for the homeless and others in need. They were a big part of the Black History Show for Help USA. One of the guys' most rewarding experiences was when they performed at the Incarnated Children Center in Washington Heights, which is a home for children suffering with Aids. The boys also joined the Heights Players Theatre Group and starred in the musical for children "The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe". On February 21, 2008 the SideTrack Boyz received the Ebony Light of the World award for Community Service through the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation. The guys are also apart of the Lay The Guns Down Campaign, they're in the music video and they're on the "Lay The Guns Down" song. In May of 2008, they auditioned and was chosen to be a part of MTA's Music Under New York to entertain thousands in the New York subway stations daily. The SideTrack Boyz also auditioned and was picked out of hundreds of competitors to sing the National Anthem at CitiField for the New York Mets game on August 20, 2009. They have already gained a local fan base. The SideTrack Boyz is a refreshing act and is always well received by a diverse audience. These young men write and produce music, and are in the studio recording their original music. Through their live performances, they are getting the exposure and experience they need to meet any opportunity. They are 100% professional and always deliver. Careful, if you happen to catch the boys live, you just might get "SideTracked"!!!!Contact718-415-0705
