SideFields

Past, present and future. All becoming somehow blurry when trying to summerize how and when did SideFields really become my route, my religion and purpose. I don't believe in god, I believe in music (or art in general). I don't know how long will this journey last for me, and what have I really gained or lost as a result of it, but I couldn't do things differently.
SideFields came to life as a band in the beginning of 2002, back in Israel where I came from. For five solid years members came and went along the way. We kept on, rehearsing, performing and recording in order to find our sound, and in the beginning of 2006 we realised we have to capture bits of it. That took us into the process of creating and pressing our first E.P. Upon its pressing I moved to London. I felt like playing with the grown ups.
During 2009 I've recorded some new songs, that reflected life in London as I viewed them. At first I had to learn how to do this by myself, and then one thing led to another. Before I knew it there was a new collection of songs there, and I figured that it might be time for another attempt to get them out there.
I've been joined by my dear friend Omer Adulam on stage, with him playing guitar. We started doing a series of shows all around London, soon to be joined by more members and making this into a full band again.
Belief kept me going through everything. But for some reason it all came to life again when I stopped dreaming.
