Sicko Soldado, the man, the beast, the MC. Known for his unique growl on the mic, but don't get it twisted, underneath the hardcore exterior lies a human being with heart. In the game for 11 years, Sicko Soldado was born and raised in Sunland Park, New Mexico an area known as a stomping ground for Pancho Villa during the Mexican Revolution. This pride is deeply rooted in the people of the region and is very much alive in Sicko Soldado. Born into a bilingual environment, like so many others in the United States, Sicko Soldado grew to appreciate both cultures from the family home, the neighborhood gang he was a part of and the growing culture of hip hop. Sicko Soldado began his music career in Denver, Colorado but ultimately migrated to the land of eternal sunshine, Los Angeles, California where he found himself in the company of industry veteran Kemo the Blaxican of Delinquent Habits for the 2nd time.

In 2004, Sicko Soldado signed to Kemo the Blaxican's label Dead Silence in 2004 and dropped his self titled first album in 2008. Since 2004, he has done shows with artists like Delinquent Habits, Kemo the Blaxican, Mack 10, Psycho Realm, Ice-T, Evidence, Freddy Fox and more and has performed all over the United States as well as Costa Rica, Holland and all over Mexico. Sicko Soldado performed and participated in the Latin Rap Conference in 2004, 2006, 2007 & 2008 and the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in 2004 which are two of the biggest music conferences for music in Spanish. Sicko Soldado has collaborated with artists such as Krazy Race, Kemo the Blaxican, Jehuniko, Diego Grazia (Spain) NK Profeto (Venezuela), Don
Dinero, Gastam, Arianna Puello (Spain),Veneco (Spain), Mr.Coronas (Peru) and has been featured on albums from Kemo the Blaxican's "Upside of Struggle," "Simple Plan," "Not so Rich and Famous," Jehuniko's "La Pura Vida," Krazy Race's "Strength in Numbers," the Noches de Hip Hop compilation as well as DJ Payback Garcia's compilations featuring some of the best in Hip Hop and recently worked with the homeless youth in Los Angeles donating CD's and performances.

Sicko Soldado's 2nd album coming in September is titled "City of the Dead" and with this release Sicko Soldado puts his heart on the line, discusses growing up in poverty, but being rich in heart and ultimately chose this title because this is music for the souls of the forgotten ones. Sicko Soldado not only represents himself or his city and culture, but all of human kind and is not going to let anyone stop him from reaching his goals. This album features collaborations with Breezewood La Connecta, Mads the Hated, Ephive, Mostro, Griz and features production from Kemo the Blaxican, Ikuestion, DJ Reverance, Mads the Hated, and Moneybackwards Kid.

In this day & age of copycat unoriginality, I encourage you to listen to Sicko Soldado for that raw adrenalin soundtrack. For additional information, interviews or promotional material, please direct your inquiries to ____
