Show Off Summer

After a discussion we (show off summer) have decided that show off summer as a band name has ran its course. it no longer represents the music we have grown to play, it suited our old style of acoustic poppiness but not the darker, intelligent music we now play.



so from this day forth (24.02.09) we shall be know as



ICECAPS

ICECAPS!



It is widely understood that ICECAPS, of which size or category it does not matter, live at either pole of the Earth. However, these ICECAPS of which we speak today are not the usualy ICECAPS you would expect, not glaciers, floes or bergs. These ICECAPS formed under the gathering and building of ideas from one project to another, until the ideas were strong and powerful enough to become ICECAPS. Similarly to a star, the changing states are known by different names when the star itself is essentially the same star, it's state has merely altered.

ICECAPS are a three piece band that have played together under a different name for a long time. After soul searching or chatting over tea and biscuits (whatever you call it) they decided to make a change.



This is said change.
