Shoot |The| Moon are an 8 piece ska, rock, swing music making machine. Their first DIY EP 'Hornstars' was a local success selling out in a matter of weeks.
Forming in 2005, Shoot | The | Moon have since supported Jesse James, The Deadbeats, Fandangle and The Catch -It- Kebabs. Which lead up to their memorable performance on The John Peel stage at Glastonbury Festival 2007; supporting acts such as The Gossip, The Noissettes, Mark Ronson and Calvin Harris. In 2008 Shoot |The| Moon worked alongside The Strummerville organisation to perform a gig with Madness in rememberance of the late Joe Strummer which sold out within days. The band were highly praised by singer Suggs, saying "Shoot |THE| Moon kick bollix!" Following this Shoot |The| Moon's growing reputation lead to them landing regular support slots with bands such as Bad manners, The Beat and releasing their second EP "Nothing Intelligent To Say" again selling out but this time across the whole of the UK.
