S&V Despotin Fam

"Shmekla & Vaiper – the old residents of the independent Lithuanian urban/hip hop stage. In 2004 they produced their album „I-- kitos ekrano puses“, which became a Lithuanian hip hop classic. In 2006 they were awarded for the best hip hop project in A.LT Awards (alternative music awards), nominated for the best group, best beat maker (Vaiper) in Lithuanian Hip Hop Awards.



In the year 2005 Vaiper wins Lithuanian Internet Beat Makers Battle & official MC BATTLE of Lithuania. The Same MC Battle was won by Despotin' Fam member Liezhuvis in 2006 and 2007.



Shmekla & Vaiper are also members of A.I.R. live music community. Now they are working with ex-Spaghetti Jazz Trio members and whole Despotin' Fam to prepare a new album and Live Performance. Have good relations with the Best Lithuanian artists and groups. Played alongside: Dj Vadim & Yarah Bravo, Afu Ra, Jeru the Damaja, Killa Kela, Phat Kat, TY, Kaya, G & G Sindikatas.
