Shinebriter

Shinebriter is a band operating out of the Midwest. Fronted by Singer/Songwriter Christopher May, they have recorded and released their debut album nicknamed Elipses (.).

The Spring of 2008 brought some lineup changes with the return of Dave Harp on the Drums and the addition of Bryan Powers to the bass. Together the three bring their eclectic styles and high caliber of musicianship to the table to create powerful performances and memorable songwriting.

Shinebriter is currently working on recording demos for their next full length concept album.



"Imagine a band in which members of Whiskeytown, Toad the Wet Sprocket (don't laugh) and U2 (before they decided he still hadn't found what they were looking for) could coexist. Then go downtown and see that band perform live: it's called Shinebriter, and it's right here. The four songs on the MySpace page are catchy witout relying on hooks, artistically inspiring without stooping to pretense and reminiscient without being derivative. There's real talent in this three-piece."
