Shaun Anthony

Shaun Antony Samonini was discovered at the age of 19, singing outside his college, Vocaltech, London. Stunned by his outstanding vocal ability, he was signed immediately to management company Pyramid Entertainment in 2007
Having spent much of the year that followed developing his song-writing and recording skills, Shaun was thrilled to be invited by his mentor (Brit Award Winner) Lemar to perform alongside him throughout his 2007 UK Tour.
Lemar and Shaun performed Al Green's famous duet 'LETS STAY TOGETHER' every night on the 20-date tour. The UK was introduced to Shaun Antony!.

Having completed the tour and with a promo single playing on national radio, it appeared that 2008 would be Shaun's year to shine. He continued working in the studio and performed at several exclusive London venues including the Jazz Cafe (Camden), The Soho Review Bar (with Gabriella Cilmi), The Borderline, Troubadour and The Bedford. He also supported Alexander O'Neal on the UK leg of his tour.
Backed by Radio 1/1Xtra DJ Ras Kwame, Shaun was dubbed 'One To Watch' for 2009 by HMV Get Closer and the Guardian Newspaper. He recorded the LIVE SESSIONS with Ras at the BBC Maida Vale Studios and went on to do a number of Radio interviews. As Shaun's profile began to build he was dubbed by the press as the 'Great White Hope' of UK Soul and Pop music. (Motorbar).
In December 2008 Shaun's childhood sweetheart and closest friend Alexandra Burke won the X factor competition. Alexandra has since asked Shaun to accompany her on many of her performances both in the UK and abroad.

A great songwriter, Shaun has explored different genres of music to cater for an ever-changing industry. His material to-date has generated a great response, but this just isn't cutting it for Shaun himself. He has decided to return to his roots and follow his heart. Influenced primarily by Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder and Brian Mcknight, Shaun's spirit is steeped in Soul music.
It has been a long journey for this soulful star from Ilford, Essex, but Shaun Antony is ready to dazzle you with his new material and his debut single due for release in 2011.
