"Shari is an energetic new artist who is poised to catch the attention of country fans everywhere." - Jason McCoy, The Road Hammers

Born in Barrie ON Canada, Shari Lynn grew up listening to many different styles of music. Over the years, Shari was able to develop herself as a performer having started out in a tribute band traveling and performing across Canada and the USA at casinos, bars as well as headlining fairs and festivals of up to 32,000 people. Her success with her tribute band soared in 2003 when Shania Twain was so impressed with Shari, that she invited Shari onstage with her at the ACC in Toronto in front of 18,000 fans. A short time after, CTV invited Shari to be a special guest on Canada AM with Shania Twain co-hosting the show. Ultimately in 2007 while Shari began recording her debut album, Shania Twain requested Shari Lynn to perform for her family in Gogama ON just outside of Timmins.

"It was a big honor that Shania wanted me to perform for her family and getting started as a tribute artist was a great learning experience and a stepping stone for who I am today."

2009 proved to be an exciting year for Shari as she continued to climb the Canadian country music ladder and was signed to a distribution deal with Louis O’Reilly of 306 Records/EMI Music Canada landing her debut album titled ‘Can You Cut It?’ in stores July 14, 2009. Shari was interviewed by Casey Clarke for the Chevy Cross Canada Countdown on CMT, toured Western Canada and Ontario as well as appeared in many newspaper articles and did many radio interviews. The CCMAs highlighted Shari’s talent by printing an article and had it featured on their website for the month of July raving about Shari’s musical climb with ‘CCMA On The Horizon With Shari Lynn’. The article quotes, “The CCMA quickly found that many people in the industry will attest to her undeniable talent.”

Not too shabby for a debut album to be working with the likes of award winning producers Helio 'Allan' Coelho (TAPPS/The Macarena) and Tom McKillip (Aaron Pritchett/Lisa Brokop/One More Girl) and mixed by award winning engineers L. Stu Young (Prince) and Kevin Churko (Shania Twain/Ozzy Osbourne.) The album also includes much sought after musicians John Dymond, Wendell Ferguson, and Jorn Andersen, as well as Randle Currie and Justin Williamson, who are currently on tour with Brad Paisley.

Her debut single, “Love Somebody” received radio play nationally, and her follow up singles “You Don’t Know Jack” and "Play Now" are currently at radio with another release "I Love Myself More" hitting radio spring 2010. The debut single “Love Somebody” was also crafted into a beautiful video, which can be found online at www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xr8406BqB0w and her most recent video scripted with the dream of winning the lottery titled 'Play Now' and filmed using some high-end exotic cars supplied by The Ultimate Car Collection can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfHZUZskp1I .

Shari has a busy schedule for 2010 as she will be shooting a music video in April for her new single as well as she will be embarking on a Canadian tour this summer around her writing and recording schedule and attending the CCMA’s (Canadian Country Music Awards) this year in Edmonton. You can also catch Shari Lynn’s 2010 TOUR schedule on her website at http://sharilynn.com/tour.html as she will be performing along with other performers Dwight Yoakam, Tanya Tucker, Doc Walker and the Wilkinsons to name a few.
