Their first single was a cover of the Spinners’ ‘Working My Way Back To You’, which started the rise to superstar status in the UK as well as Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Their first album ‘Said And Done’ was released in 1994 and shot to number one in the UK. Their second album ‘A Different Beat’, also topped the charts and sold over two million copies worldwide.

Boyzone scored a musical hat trick with their next album ‘Where We Belong’. Released in Europe in 1998, it became their third consecutive album to hit number one.

Their last album ‘By Request’ was a compilation of their greatest hits, and was also a massive success.

Since then Shane has been concentrating on his greatest love – racing in the British GT Championships, driving the world famous TVR Tuscan T400R.

Shane has recently made many TV appearances in shows such as Sex, Lies and Michael Aspel for the BBC, Celebrity Fear Factor for Sky 1, was also a contestant on The Games 2004 (Channel 4 and E4) in April 2004 where he came first, and became a regular on Dream Team for Sky 1 where he played the part of millionaire entrepreneur Eli Knox.
