SHADWELL

Shadwell is a Boston-based band that sounds like Aaron, Ben, Jimmy, Rob and Stephen playing instruments and singing together. Think somewhere between Brit-rock and straight ahead American rockmaybe split the difference and call it mid-Atlantic rock.



In 2007, Shadwell released its self titled EP with the help of producer Tom Polce (CBS Records). Since then, the band has continually played throughout the northeast including frequent stops at Boston's The Middle East, Paradise Rock Club, and T.T the Bears and New York’s Arlene’s Grocery and Pianos. Shadwell's music has also travelled through space via airplay on Boston-area radio stations including WXRV, WCIB, and WBCN and college radio throughout the country.



For the past two years, Shadwell has been selected to play the sidestage at WXKS Kiss 108's annual "Kiss Concert" at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. Most recently, the band was named winner of Boston Music Spotlight’s 2009 Battle of the Bands, chosen as one of BMS' “Top 10 Local Bands to Watch in 2010,” and selected to play several showcases during the 2010 SXSW festival in Austin, TX.



Shadwell's first full-length album "Clarity" (produced and engineered by Ducky Carlisle) is now available via iTunes, Amazon.com, and CDBaby.
