Sergio SERJ Buss

Hi there! My name is Sergio but my friends call me SERJ. Yes, this is a musician's page but I am here to make friends. Of course, if you decide to listen to my music and end up enjoying it, that's a bonus. Go ahead, spread the word and tell your friends that it's worth a visit here. But again, this is not a space just for showing my music so don't be shy -- get in touch if you're interested in making new friends.



I’m known as a guitar player but I actually consider myself to be a composer who happens to play guitar. I write music for TV and that takes a huge chunk of my time. I’m always dealing with deadlines so I don't get to practice and play as much as I would like.



I was born in Joinville, a small town in southern Brazil. I'm a Libra with a touch of ADD, so I have a hard time memorizing stuff. I always explain myself through analogies. I love pizza and F1 races. I also enjoy cooking and one of my guilty pleasures is to watch all of Jamie Oliver's TV shows. I keep forgetting my friends’ birthdays and that's why I don't get cranky when they forget mine. I think Jellyfish is the greatest band ever.



I like waking up really early in the morning and I enjoy washing my car on a sunny afternoon. I get frustrated when I'm trying to concentrate and somebody interrupts me with something that’s not important. Well, maybe it’s important to them, but it’s just soooo hard for me to get back into the groove of whatever I was working on.



I really admire creative minds and just put out a new album (Liquid piece of me) that is actually an homage to creative souls in their many forms. I don't enjoy clubbing as much as I enjoy a couple bottles of wine with my close friends. TV shows? "Lost", "Criss Angel-Mindfreak", "Overhaulin" and "Miami Ink". I daydream. a lot!
