About Septien Entertainment GroupSeptien Entertainment Group is a complete turn-key operation for artists. Besides offering contemporary education for the vocalist and instrumental artist, SEG offers management, booking, and full HD recording studios. An artist learns techniques in commercial vocal style, instrumental performance, songwriting, stage presentation (body movement and speech), and technical aspects of studio recording (pre-amp choices, mic usage, etc.). Additionally, eligible artists are booked on gigs at various venues, festivals, and studio sessions that will enhance the vocalist’s performance skills. SEG’s mission: to produce a voice like no other…to produce an act like no other…to develop pure tonal ability and dexterity of the vocal instrument. Our greatest goal is to educate our singers (children, teens, and adults) about the music industry so they may choose the best path to take. Beginning students launch their training with micro group study of the vocal instrument. They sing with peers their age and learn the art of commercial voice in weekly lessons. In addition, SEG offers summer camps, workshops and vocal training CD’s available to the public. Those preferring private study audition with one of our vocal coaches who evaluate based on harmony, scat, and register skills. Those who want private coaching with Linda must have professional vocal skills and a desire to pursue a career in music.
Linda Septien has been teaching voice for over 24 years; coaching and nurturing students based on their unique needs as artists, and giving them every opportunity to make an impression in the industry. Her innovative use of weights, sports equipment, and exercises prepares a singer to maintain their energy on stage. She focuses on developing a commercial sound marketable to both radio audiences and fans. As of 2010, over 6000 singers have taken from the studios including: Jessica Simpson, Ryan Cabrera, Demi Lovato, Ashlee Simpson, Celena Rae (American Idol 2005), Clear Cut (featured on MTV’s “Laguna Beach”) Remington Rafael, Erik Neff, Ana Alicia, and Seven Story Drop. Septien Entertainment Group employes eight additional vocal coaches who are noted for their expertise in individual mechanics of style (R&B, pop, gospel, musical theater, jazz, rock, hard rock, and country). Once students audition, they are placed with a coach specializing in their particular vocal style.
