Seppuku emerges from the underground electronic music scene with a history that traces back to the early 90's. A dj whose style is best described as manipulated experimental turntabilist, Seppuku's style remains innovative and forward thinking and is apparent in all his projects. Originally a Hardcore Techno Dj, Seppuku has emerged into many other genres including Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Moohmbaton, IDM, Ambient, Industrial and Experimental Acoustic Jazz. An experienced and proficient turntabilist, Seppuku's belief in the art of mixing fuels his personal and artistic dedication to continually strive towards fresh and inventive forms of manipulating sounds. This ability has given Seppuku the opportunity to play around the world including tours in South America, Europe, and Mexico, playing the Fuck Parade in Berlin and playing inside a maximum security prison in Bogota as part of the Bogotrax Festival. Seppuku is also one of the longest running promoters in his native Santa Barbara, throwing parties for local and international artists since 98". His dedication to preserving the underground has given him the ability to work with many well respected crews and artists such as Darkmatter in Los Angeles and Stripe 999 in Rome, Italy. His current utilization of analog equipment and acoustic instruments mixed with field recordings have led to a unique and (fresh) method of producing new musical styles. This type of musical fusion and forward thinking approach will ensure that Seppuku's sound is heard for years to come.

THE DANCE OF DEATH : The focus of this project was to achieve an original recording with an organic sound. Our musical style attempts to achieve a cinematic sound track feel with a unique industrial approach mimicking early industrial/musique concrete styles. The musical base for this is an assortment of original recorded material created by a variety of instruments including homemade drums, scrap metal, autoharp, guitar, bass, accordion, and other found objects. The ambient of this project was created using field recordings of factories and mechanical devices, mixed using both analog and digital synthesizers. The result of these two factors is "The Dance of Death", a project that contains NO SAMPLED material.
