S.o.M (Sensor of Mind)

After playing for several years in the metal band "Cowers"

Franck (guitarist, singer) and his brother JP (drums) decided to start a new band resolutely ROCK!

-Starting in October 2003, the band goes on the road.

They play at several festival included "Printemps de Bourges" and "Metal summer Festival".

Audiences are impressed by the intensity and the power of their performances.

2005 : The band record their first "demo maxi CD" - 5 Tracks - include "4U" Single.

This first demo is only for fans and label promo.

2006 : S.o.M sign with E-label "Wild palm music" to put online the song "4U"on different general downloadable site like "virginmega, Pepsimusic.".

The song "4U" reaches the N°1 rank of the sales on "virgin mega" in the « pop-rock/auto production »

category and the second rank in the general classifying « autoproduced singles » sales.

S.o.M open for the Spanish Metal-gothic band "Forever Slave" in Paris.

2007 : S.o.M, record their first album "Sensor of Mind" at « Melody Studio » (EMI, Replica, Universal.).

All songs are produced and mixed by Didier Chesneau (magic kingdom, Headline, iron mask.).

The mastering is done by Bruno Gruel (Mylene Farmer, Misanthrope.) at « Elektra Mastering ».

The album included an exclusive duet version of the single « 4U » with Lady Angellyca, singer of

spanish metal gothic band « Forever Slave », and a cover of the mytic band ZZtop.

2008 : S.o.M sign with the E-Label "Believe" to put for Download the Album "Sensor of Mind"

The album enter directly in the top five of best metal seller on Virgin Mega.



Juillet 2003 Fort de plusieurs années au sein du groupe Cowers, Franck (Chant / Guitare) et son frère JP (Batterie), décident de former un nouveau groupe résolument ROCK !



Séduits par le nouveau projet, ils sont vite rejoints par d'anciens membres de Cowers, Yoni (Guitare solo) et Steeve (Basse). Steeve sera par la suite remplacé par Chuck. Le groupe est né. Son nom : S.o.M (Sensor of Mind).



Le groupe part sur la route, en passant notamment par l'édition 2004 du festival "Le Printemps de Bourges" ou encore le « Metal summer Fest ». L'intensité et la puissance dégagées par le groupe sur scène ne laisse personne indifférent.



En 2005 Le groupe enregistre leur premier CD Maxi qui comprendra 5 titres. Cette première demo et réservée au fans et à l'envoi aux Labels.



En 2006 le single « 4U » (Album version) est mis en « Test » sur différentes plateformes de téléchargement. Dés la première semaine « 4U » se place N°1 des ventes dans la catégorie « Autoproduction/Pop-Rock », et N°2 dans le classement général des ventes de singles autoproduits.



S.o.M ouvre pour le groupe de métal gothique Espagnol Forever Slave lors leur concert promo à Paris. Cette rencontre donnera naissance à un projet de duo avec Lady Angellyca, chanteuse du groupe Espagnol Forever Slave.



2007, S.o.M enregistre leur 1er album sobrement intitulé « Sensor of Mind ». L'enregistrement et le mixage sont réalisés au Melody Studio (FR) sous la direction de Didier Chesneau (Headline, Iron Mask, Invictus). Le mastering est réalisé chez Elektra Mastering par Bruno Gruel (Mylene Farmer, Misanthrope.).



Ce premier album comprend différents Bonus dont une version inédite du single « 4U » en duo avec Lady Angellyca, chanteuse du groupe espagnol Forever Slave ainsi qu'une reprise du groupe mythique Texan ZZtop.



2008 S.o.M signe avec le E-Label « Believe » pour la distribution numérique de « Sensor of Mind ». L'album entre directement dans le top 5 des meilleures ventes Métal sur Virgin Mega
