Formed in November 2005, Sense of Sound Choir is a dynamic collective of talented individuals who, under the musical direction of Perri Alleyne-Hughes with her remarkable arrangements, deliver an organic sound that is soulful, sensitive and strong. Based in Liverpool, this a cappella choir has members hailing from all corners of the globe.



In 2006, Sense of Sound Choir reached the grand final of Radio 3’s Choir of the Year competition.

Sense of Sound reached the final 6 choirs in BBC1’s prime time TV show, Last Choir Standing. You can see the audition video, as well as other performances from throughout the competition, at www.bbc.co.uk/lastchoirstanding.



To date, Sense of Sound Choir's journey has been an incredible and undoubtedly unforgettable one, working with the likes of Seal, John Bon Jovi, Brian Eno, Ringo Starr, Dave Stewart, Damon Albarn, Imogen Heap, Kenny Anderson (King Creosote), David Coulter, Sandy Dillon, David Gilmour, Roger Waters and many more.
