Biography



As a british Citizen born in Munich and raised in Austria, internationality was a defining factor in Sensay’s life from early years. His parents, both being professional musicians enabled him an upbringing in a musical and creative enviroment, in which he studied classical piano and sung in his father’s choir.

In the mid ’90s, as the german rap scene started developing it’s full swing, Sensay caught on and made early ventures into rapping and beat-making. He became part of one of the first tyrolean Hip-Hop groups IBK Tribe.

IBK Tribe began to establish itself in the rap and reggae scene and Sensay moved to Vienna in order to have more interaction with musicians and the capital’s industry.



He soon made a name for himself producing Instrumentals for Reggae and Rap artists such as Anthony B., MaDoppelT, Die Vamummtn, Deph Joe and Iriepathie.



In 2007 he produced and performed the Hit „Go Wax Wreckaz“ (Media Spirit, EMI) together with german Dancehall Star Benjie. This enabled him to produce and write for artists such as Ruben, Johnny K. Palmer (Starmania), Nadine Beiler (Starmania), Kathi Kallauch (The Voice 2007), Leo Aberer, Rafiq, Niddl (Starmania) and Radina Veliova (Starmania).

In 2008 he produced Ruben’s entire album, titled „In My Room“ as well as the entire upcoming album of Johnny K. Palmer. Also, in 2008 he teamed up with singer/songwriter Cesar Sampson, Leon and Producer Mezuian to form the production team „Symphonics“. Their first joint effort, a swinging Pop Single for Bulgaria‘s shooting star Krista entitled „Running“ („Tova Koeto Iskash“) hit 1 of the MTV World Express charts as well as the national Top 10.

The same year, he became part of New York label and production company „Youngstar Entertainment“, producing songs and remixes for J-Cast, A-Clay and Lee Majors.



Sensay also produced commercial music for companies, brands and events such as BMW, Heineken, Pierre Lang, BENE and Steinbacher and has written and produced for numerous lables including EMI, Universal Music, Big Smile Productions, Youngstar Entertainment Group, Hoanzl, Dancehallfieber Records, Media Spirit Entertainment and more.



In early 2009, Sensay joined multi-platinum award-winning producer David Bronner‘s

Studio to co-produce the upcoming album of Valerie.



In 2007 he co-founded the Multimedia Agency „Wildruf “, a company devoted to film,

video, sound design and music for advertising.

Sensay‘s current projects include an orchestrated Dolby Surround Production for Multiplexx, Austrias largest chain of cinemas, TV and advertising soundtracks and the upcoming album of gold-award winning singer Manuel Ortega. In addition Sensay has produced the upcoming single of singer Kosta Martakis, one of Greece‘s most famous stars for Universal Records.
