Semistereo is ready for the future with their new CD
'Semistereo', and the accompanying video clip of their
song 'A Graceful Shutdown'. Even more than on their
previous CD 'Welcome, You Knight!' the band navigates between beautiful soft passages and heavy guitar eruptions while building their songs layer by layer.
Just when you thought that you reached the outskirts of
possibilities, the band completely surprises with poppy
melodies, or a massive, monstrous groove, serving as
the basis for a wonderfull guitar melody.
At the end of 2011, keyboard player Almar Aubel,
previously playing in the industrial Glam Rock band
'Outerspace Overdose' joined the band. With this
addition, Semistereo on stage will be more imposing
and thrilling, but at the same time a more atmospheric
experience.
