In south central los angeles, on january 8, 1980 when the city was riding to the beginning sounds of the westcoast style, it unanimously enlisted a new artist named Livewire.



The streets quickly gravitated to livewire from a young age. Livewire didn't join gangs or participate in the gang lifestyle that grew popular in the streets and the media. His refuge from the life he was given became rapping. He actually earned his name of livewire from a freestyle battle he had when he was young. It didn't take long for that, to be his "official" name since his personality is extremely energetic and he protrays that along with experience on the microphone.



Many would say that Livewire was the problem child but from moving from house to house at a young age he found comfort in words and lyric patterns leading him to discover the sounds of the Geto Boys, N.W.A., Ice Cube, and Ice T. Around the fifth grade his mom recalls his first rap in school about recycling and from there he never stopped adding a new hobby to his problematic behavior.



Within the next few months his family moved next door to a place called " the playground" which happened to be a place for kids to go after school and stay away from trouble. With the encouragement of his mom he went faithfully everyday. There he had the priveledge to meet and watch Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, eric sermon and president bill clinton. By the now the music completely possesed his body proving to him he will become a rapper.



By the next year his family moved again but this time it was around the corner from macadoshis. Eventually livewire and macadoshis's younger brother became best friends and took his dream to another level. By the age of 15, he met the group called the Outlaws and Thuglife and other famous emcees from the past and present. Livewire still continued to write, rap, and perform but took school serious since he understood success needs preparation and in life you need a high school diploma. With that said he took experience more serious to complete the legacy of the westcoast he was born to live and tell. Developing "SELFMADE" ENT. with long time friend Eastwood and starting his own Livewire Productions and Films, he is more than meets thee eye!
