SELFMADE ENTERTAINMENT .

Established 2000…made of Latinos born and raised in the notorious streets of the San Francisco Mission District. The group was started by 2 old friends, Lou Butterz and KD, both raised in the lifestyles of the streets. With time, they pushed their street knowledge and creditability into the Bay Area music industry. Their dedication to music formed the G-Brotherz of Selfmade Entertainment.

Louis G, also known as LB or Lou Butterz, has been producing music since his early years of a teen. KD, the other half of the G-Brotherz has worked with Lou for many years prior to forming the group rapping over instrumentals with other to be artists. Together they have collaborated with legendary and top artists from the Bay Area and have produced numerous tracks with these artists.



The G-brotherz soon began to produce and record various tracks and debuted on local compilations, underground mixtapes, and album appearances. As with any other group in the music industry, conflicts caused setbacks and prevented a well captured audience.

Later in they years, Mauricio, aka Tyson, joined the group as the Executive Producer for Selfmade Entertainment. Before establishing his role in the group, Tyson led the life affliated with gangs becoming one of San Francisco's known and respected gangsters. Tyson joins the group after his release from a 5 year prison term and turned his attention and becomes the money and muscle behind the Selfmade G-Brotherz.



After the three combined their talents, the G-Brothers took on another level of the music industry. Aside from working with other artisits on compilations and mixtapes, the group focused on completing their debut album. A year later, Pistol City, was released with 20 solid tracks with all prints sold throughout Northern California. With the release of Pistol City, the group independently promoted themsleves on local bay area radio stations and with live shows throughout the area including an opening performance for David Banner.

The G-brotherz, better known as the G-Bz, continued to push their music and have completed their sophomore album, The Arrival, scheduled for release early 2010.
