Search Party

Search Party was formed by four young musicians from Detroit, whose passion for the artistic manipulation of sound drew them together in August 2004. Each members similarities and differences are combined in this search for enlightenment, creating something moving as well as unique along the way



"Search party jam a raw, spaced out, FX-heavy sonic assault. I'm thinking The Cure meet Sonic Youth, Maserati, We Versus The Shark, The Rapture, and Joy Division. It's very pretty, very loud, very classy. Live they are like a bulldozer of beautiful, tripped out pulverizing that sounds thick and full, like a sack of bricks nailing you from a 30-story drop, but the moment of impact is more like a hot tub filled with gorgeous naked women. Yeah it's kind of like that."
