SEAN T HANRATTY invokes a musical era of America past, conjuring up the ghosts and
spirit of the great blues players of the Misspissippi Delta, while adding an undeniably
original element, which he says, is "Brooklyn".
SEAN is a Brooklyn native whose music blends sewer caps with swamplands and blue skies
with broken glass. His songs have their roots in the blues and they spring forth with a sound
that's unmistakably soulful. The Bowery Poetry Club in NYC's eclectic East Village
provided the setting where poetry, music and the old school beatnik spirit coalesced into
the formation of SEAN'S band, THE MIGHTY MIGHTY. This band features bassist
MIKE BARILE who brings harmonious counterpoint and sonic strength with his beautiful
bass lines and drummer DAVE MILLER brings unbridled energy, enthusiasm and rock
solid technique to the drum set. With his vivacious band mates, SEAN T. HANRATTY
has formed the musical trio which is the perfect compliment to the unparalleled passion he
