Sen Eric Harris
is a hard working, diverse and profound musician. He is proficient on both electric and double bass and prides himself on being a solid, dependable bassist fluent in many more styles than most elitist world music fans have even heard. Over the last several years, he's toured with major touring and recording acts like "The Town Pants" from Vancouver, BC, "Motor City Josh" a nationwide blues guitar legend, and Lava/Atlantic recording artists "The Atomic Fireballs" (which included television spots on "Dawson's Creek," and in movies "Scooby Doo," "American Pie" and "Three to Tango."); much of the time with little or no rehearsal, but just jumping on a plane and meeting the band when he arrived at soundcheck! He is a frequent sideman, well known for his style described as "Progessive/Aggressive" and ability to play with sensitivity when the gig calls for it. He's a founding member, composer and arranger for many bands including "TrippHorn Solution," "Orbis," "The Lolita Trio," "The Filter Kings," and many more. He has a solo debut album coming out this summer and is endorsed by Bruckwicki Instruments Basses.
Sen is hardly afraid of taking a stand for what's right and is often outspoken with his opinions and political commentary. Most of that rhetoric is confined to his blogs, though.

I have recently received a beautiful new white & black ebony topped 5 string built for me by Jeff Bruckwicki of Bruckwicki Instruments! I also happen to be his newest endorsee. Coming to a stage near you soon!!

A personal note from Sen:
This myspace page is a site for me, Sen Harris, to use as a central portal to promote and touch base with ALL of the various projects with whom I'm affiliated, and to also let everyone out there know where they might be able to catch me performing when I'm just filling in or subbin somewhere. Let me give you the skinny on who I'm working with these days opn a regular basis:

JAMIE MCCARTHY
Visit Jamie's Myspace Page
Jamie McCarthy (son of Detroit radio personality J.P. McCarthy) is a pop music mecca all to himself. With fresh contemporary songs full of classic pop hooks and moods, the soon-to-be-released second album is sure to be a hit! Check the direct websites for more information, or check out some pictures in Sen's photos!

BAND OF DEMONS
NOT A HEAVY METAL BAND!!!!
Name is inspired by the Charlie Daniel's Band's song "Devil Went Down To Georgia" in which the devil challenges Johnny to a fiddle contest for his soul. When the Devil goes to play, a "band of demons" spontaneously shows up and plays behind him, improvising. It is a completely improvisational band in which we do not have any songs pre-written. We go on stage and some introduces an idea, and we turn it into music live. We will go from Reggae to Metal to Fusion to Swing to Latin Rock to Funk and everything in between. This is a sensationally fun band to watch create music live! Keep an eye out for our shows!
Sen Harris - Bass
Rick Beamon - Drum
Santos Madrigal - Guitar
De'Sean Jones - Sax
special guests (so far):
JoVia Armstrong - Drums & Percussion
Bill Beaver - Vox
Mike Smith - Guitar
Phil Hale - Keys
Djallo Djakate - Drums
