*Rising from the ashes of G. WILIKER'S, THE EMPIRE ROCK CLUB, THE CELL BLOCK & THE PIRATE'S DEN, comes SE7EN HEADS from Northeast Philadelphia. SE7EN HEADS is a band that can only be defined as "Where the ROCK stops and the METAL begins." Their roots are firmly planted in a vast catalog of classic rock and classic metal. Their sound is both unique and original. Since their arrival on the bill SE7EN HEADS have made a name for themselves, and their live shows NEVER cease to disappoint the fans & uninitiated. SE7EN HEADS have rocked every stage in the Philadelphia area, including such local haunts as: The Khyber Pass, The North Star Bar and The Trocadero Theater; earning them recognition and respect from all walks of local music. Their contributions to the local music scene in Philadelphia and support of other local bands, are undeniable.
Their First Full album, released in 2004, “The Fury”, earned them regular air play on “Loud and Local”, a show dedicated to bringing the underground above ground, broadcasted on 94.1 WYSP. The album features such fan favorites as “It” and “Hold it like a Hammer”, which still dawn their live sets to this day.
“The Fury” was quickly followed by an EP album entitled “Quint”. This cluster of songs became a highly sought after collectible among fans featuring tracks like “Snakes with Batwings” and “Lungfish”.
Their follow up full length album, “Boo”, was released in 2007, and in a short time the album was sought out by fans and other bands removed from the Philadelphia scene alike. Their sound has an appeal that is uncommon in most modern Hard Rock/Metal acts today. It is the patience, persistence, and perserverance of the band, that enables their refusal to give into the main stream pop sounds that are in the “now”. This keeps them respected and revered by their fans and friends alike in the underground music scene of Philadelphia.
SE7EN HEADS are currently working on their new album- slated for a 2010 release. Always expect the unexpected with a band like SE7EN HEADS. You'll never know where their wave of sound will take us.
