The name S-ey was originally a nickname he was given before he got himself properly involved in the Essex music scene. It came from his initials (S.A) and slowly but surley most people began to call him this on an everyday basis. Prior to becoming a Hip Hop/Grime Emcee S-ey made Garage music with a small group of friends at school and went by the name of Max-G. As he left school and lost touch with some of these friends this hobby faded and college became his priority.

During his college days he found time to make music again and went to several Grime sets in his local area. Through these sets and meetings he met many local emcees and DJs and started to work on small projectswith several of them. One of the emcees he began to do alot of work with was Agrow who later introduced him to making Hip Hop.

As Grime music became a much more popular genre of music S-ey made a small crew called S.I (Street Influence), they became a well known part of the local music scene but faded away due to lack of devotion from some members.

S-ey later became part of a much more stable crew called Troubled Mindz and began to make some more valid moves. Whilst being part of Troubled Mindz he released his 1st Promotion CD called 'Play Promo', over 100 copies of this CD were distributed in just the first few days of its release.

S-ey is currently working on a 2nd Promotional CD. All tracks on this CD are to be produced by Tricky and is due to be released soem time in Summer 2008.
