Scream Club is Cindy Wonderful and Sarah Adorable, and began in Olympia WA in 2002. The Scream Club sound combines elements of hip hop, pop, punk, dance, glam rock, electro, and rap. While embracing the glitz and glamour found in mainstream culture, SC has still remained true to their D.I.Y. roots and ethics. From the beginning, SC has been dedicated to touring most months out of the year, both in the US and Europe, inspiring countless others along the way. Now located in Berlin, Scream Club’s catchy songs, artsy music videos, and energetic stage shows have developed a cult-like following around the world.

They have been on over a dozen compilations and been featured on releases from K records, Chicks On Speed Records, Tiny Sensational, Alphapup Records, Wired Records, Alien8 Records, Ekleroshock Records, Rock Machine Records, Cherche La Femme Records and Top Quality Rock and Roll Records.

They have three full length releases “Don’t Bite Your Sister” (Tiny Sensational 2004), “Life of a Heartbreaker” (AlphaPup/Crunks Not Dead 2006) and “Big Deal” (Emancypunx/Crunks Not Dead 2009). Their releases feature esteemed guests like Peaches, AWOL One, Beth Ditto, Mirah, Tender Forever, and Busdriver, and Scream Club tracks have been re-mixed by the likes of Yuksek, Leonard deLeonard, and Hard Ton.

There are over 10 official Scream Club videos, three of which ("If You Want It", "Toi et Moi", and "Break You Nice") have aired on the National TV Channel LOGO in the states, while others have screened at film festivals internationally.

They are currently recording their fourth album, due to be released on Crunks Not Dead/RockMachine in 2010. It is produced by Electrosexual and is titled “Screaming and Crying”. It will feature guest appearances by Shunda K. of Yo Majesty, Sue Denim of Robots in Disguise, , Mz Sunday Luv, and more.

If that didn't keep them busy enough, they remain active nurturing the independent electronic music community with their own label CRUNKS NOT DEAD records.

PERFORMER MAGAZINE

"Stated influences run the gamut from Biggie Smalls and Bell Biv Devoe to Yoko Ono and Le Tigre, while the band's lo-fi beats and playful, racy raps have some of the major all-around party-time appeal of the Beastie Boys and Gravy Train!!!!"

-Shannon Coulture

SYNTHESIS MAGAZINE

"With songs about partying, queer politics and love, Olympia, Washington's Scream Club, self-described as "two gaysymmetrical superheroes," put on shows that are

part furious flows with tight beats and part aerobic workouts."

-Rene Stephens

THE STRANGER

"Out of 5 stars, I give Scream Club 10. This smart-mouthed lesbian hip hop duo sling super-catchy sex-savvy rhymes that don't resort to the common white indie kidrapper cliche of being too kitschy. Of all the new shit that's come across my desk lately, I have to say these ladies excite me the most, and not just because of their explicit lyrics."

-Jennifer Maerz

XXL

"I was skeptical what two freaky white chicks could bring to hip hop, but I have to say the shit was tight"

- XXL

CYNDI LAUPER

"Girls still just wanna have fun"

- Cyndi Lauper.
