The SCRAPAZ were started in 1997 on the turfs of EAST OAKLAND , Bookers sto front , by FACELIF and PHILLABROUGHAM , yarraimtalkinbout ,befo anybody was yellin out this SCRAPER SHIT , the two of us named our group the SCRAPERZ .To us a SCRAPER has never been a car .The definition of scrape is to acheive a goal by a small margin , no matter how big or small the goal is . Scrape also means to gather up all your resources and focus them into one thing as fast and as hard as you can . Our definition for SCRAPAZ is: Socialy Conscious Rappers Adressing Perspectives everyone can relate to from A to Z . If you combine all of the definitions I have explained to you , you get what we call a SCRAPER . We are the ORIGINAL SCRAPAZ , since 1997 ask the streets. When we came up with the group we had both just got out of jail and it was hard times , we started makin music with this manager cat (I wont say his name)but he was tryin to fuck us out of our bread ,so we shook that fool , that drove us to work harder , we sacrifised everything we had to start our own company , we named it MACRAHARD INC. the opposite of MICROSOFT .We purchased our own equipment , and started makin our own beats , we then started focusing on the business aspect of this music game . We purchased SCRAPERZ.com in 2000 , (this was our original spelling)but when we got the money and went to Federally trademark it , the Mattel toy company had already bought the name , so thats why you see SCRAPAZ spelled the way it is today ,which is federally trademark and copywritten (dont use our spelling or we'll sue you , our lawyers are moneyhungry and eager to do it) (update the SCRAPAZ have had to return to the PAPER SCRAPERZ after prolonged trademark issue but we will keep this myspace name ).The SCRAPAZ have had to deal with alot of setbacks , jail ,losses , funding, broken promises and hating , but have still managed to form their own company and independently produce their product . The SCRAPAZ are more than a group we are a movement . We are rappers , producers , writers , publishers , project and event cordinators , and incorperated business owners . Our latest project is entitled "LOYALTY BRINGS ROYALTY"soon to be released . This project features KEAK THE SNEAK , YUCKMOUTH,MR.FAB,BAVGATE,B-LEGIT,HARM,CHOPPA YOUNG CITY,JAYO FELONY, and DWAYNE WIGGENS of TONITONETONY . THE SCRAPAZ are a self producing group , and have projectsAs soon as our music is mastered I will start uploading songs to our profile for everyone to listen to and download .our album has a sound of its own .we are proud to announce that we have signed a distribution deal with KOCH ent. and will available worldwide and on all popular internet distribution channels . we hope to entertain you soon . There are no more thugs they have died out , they have self destructed and have made the game an ugly gamble . Today there is a new generation in the game , and they are called SCRAPAZ . The SCRAPAZ do not represent oakland ,the SCRAPAZ do not represent the BAY ,we represent a MIND STATE , a mind state of focusing and acheiving your goals and dreams. SCRAPAZ are independent deep thinkers that discipline themselves for longevity . They can work with anybody and have no racial barriers to hold back their progress. Are you a SCRAPER , are you trying to acheive your goals , are you gathering all of your resources and time and focusing them into something as fast and as hard as you can ?
