"Scott Nevins reads the entire pop-celeb establishment in his wildly funny final New York performance of "Celebutant: Don’t You Know Who I Think I Am?" at the Laurie Beechman theatre. We like to think of Nevins as a young, sexy, gay(er) Kathy Griffin, and we’ve loved watching him blossom from his live talk show at therapy into a full-fledged comedian, aptly aping everything from celebrities to his own family and keeping the audience laughing for nearly two hours with great timing and skill. It’s no surprise to us that he’s nominated for a MAC Award for Male Cabaret Comedy/Musical Comedy Performer. Watch for Nevins to take his show on the road to, as he puts it, “corrupt other cities”!
