DESCRIPTION:
I'm making my way to a place that breaks love.
& leaving my goodbyes so I can move on.
Without orchids in my pockets & cushions for the soul.
In search of something... Always something.
I'm catching up to the ghost.
& I'm broke but I look good with my heart in my throat
When it pulses I breathe but you don't.
So I choke & make most of whats in this heart, in this throat
In a body that shakes when it knows not which way to go.
Now I'm living in a building from the 20's filled with alarms.
Kids from chicago are living next door living proof there's a fire.
Spreading northward to make ourselves heard.
We pour our blood on the stars.
Perilously here we swallow down our fears & taste who we are.
So good so far.
& I'm broke but I look good with my heart in my throat
When it pulses I breathe but you don't.
So I choke & make most of whats in this heart, in this throat
In a body that shakes when it knows not which way to go.
