Scott Fo-Shaw is a young up and coming DJ and producer based in Leeds. In a very short space of time, Scott has gone from being an unknown teenager mixing in his bedroom to being one of the hottest properties the Hard Dance scene currently has to offer.

His style would be described as Hard House, but he doesn’t just stick to heads down approach of mixing but likes to give the crowd a show with his crazy antics behind the decks and it's widely accepted that this fresh faced 18 year-old will soon be a big name in the dance music scene. After working with and engineering for: Tidy DJs, Paul Maddox, Digital Kid and various other DJs and producers, Scott is well on his way to achieving his goals and has more experience than most for someone of his age.

Scott himself is extremely determined, and his list of his influences include: Paul Maddox, Switch, Massive Attack, BK, Untidy Dubss and Mark EG . For someone so young, Scott's flawless mixing and spot-on productions are second-to-none. Recently, his tracks have been featured on various compilations such as: Tidy’s Weekender 11 CD, Tidy Trashed and The Hard House Designer Labels compilation album which showcases the best tracks from some of the scene’s biggest and well known labels (Tidy, Vicious Circle and Riot!), this has helped him gain more exposure, and helped him maintain and improve upon his already large and varied fan base.

By the age of 18 Scott had already played many an under age gig, secured residencies for Storm (Coalville), A+E (Hereford) and V14GRA (Leeds), played guest slots for Frantic and had tracks signed to some of the scene’s biggest labels such as: Tidy, Toolbox and Oblivion. All this is further backed up by his remix work, which has included remixes for some of the legends of Hard Dance: Lisa Lashes, Organ Donors and Paul Maddox. All this before the time he was even legally allowed into a club is astonishing and proves just what a talent this young lad from Leeds is.

“Scott is definitely one of the brightest young talents on the Hard House scene at present. Considering he is only 16, his tunes are turning heads and are helping bring back the good vibes in the clubs! One to watch for the future and a sound lad as well!" – Sam Townend (Tidy)

‘’A promising young talent with alot of potential, always keen to hear new material and put him under close watch for Deprived of Funk material’’ – Jukesy (JP & Jukesy/Deprived Of Funk)

‘’In my eyes Scott has pretty much come out of nowhere in the last few months and burst onto the scene with his fresh, funky and energetic sound. He is definately one to watch out for over the coming months as he begins to pick up more and more fans. Myself and Storm will definately be showing our support’’ - Garbo (Storm – Winners Of ‘Best Large Club’ HDA’s 2007)

''In a dynamic scene that constantly takes influence from other dance music sub-genres, it's required to shift with the times and stay cutting edge - as well as appealing to a hard dance market. Young producers have grasped this with open arms and apply 110% into their learning of production. Currently flourishing at the top of this crowd is Scott, who I have had the pleasure of working with. Scott's experimental nature combines bizarrely, but effectively, with his effortless skill and the result is a trademark sound that already has seen the creme de la crème (such as the Tidy Boys) asking him for his productions. All this from a lad who has barely touched 16. To say he is 'one for the future' is a clichéd pisstake - keeping up the good work should see Scott make some serious waves in dance music'' - DJ GRH (Mission/GRH Recordings)
