At 18 years old, Scott's band "A Fine Mess" won a nationally-televised battle of the bands hosted by Sammy Davis Jr., and since then, Scott has been the leader of the China Club's jam night, and fronted many other acclaimed bands. The Chicago Tribune called his band, "The Falling Wallendas" debut, ".breathtaking, 3 1/2 out of 4 stars."
