2011 sees the long awaited new album from Scorched Earth. Sideways Life is the follow up to the acclaimed 2006 album Resistance to the passage of sound. Bringing together some of the finest UK musicians, Scorched Earth is not confined to one genre, with inspirations ranging from the cool electronica of Cinematic Orchestra and Zero7, to the jazz giants Coltrane and Metheny, through to the acoustic songwriting legends John Martyn and Nick Drake.
