By Andrew James:

Hailing from London Ontario,
these experimental rockers blend a
unique mix of rock, funk, dance and
soul all into one. The crooning and
commanding voice of lead singer
Steven Lourenco sits firmly against
a background of crushing drums,
driving bass, and jangling guitar.
Striking shifts in tone, rhythm, and
timbre come barreling through this
sonically diverse EP.

Say Domino’s live performance
grooves through a bombastic wall
of sound leaving their audiences
with no option but to dance. Their
music excites and engages listeners
of all types.

This band’s talent surely exceeds
their age (19) and thus has
garnered them the success of sharing
the stage with some of Canada’s
best performers. They’ve opened for
Mother Mother, Ladyhawk, Shad,
Hey Ocean, Junior Boys, Rah Rah,
Yukon Blonde, D'urbervilles, and
p.s. I Love You. Also, they’ve been
featured at both NXNE Festival
and London’s own Oh! Fest.
In 2009 They won the Jack
Richardson Music Award for best
youth band.

Who’s We is Say Domino’s debut
EP since their formation in 2007.

REVIEWS:

"They are a god damn rock band whatever their age and people ought to recognize that. Tight drumming, sharp guitar playing with rough whiskey soaked vocals. They are certainly not afraid to cut loose and sound raw to bring the rock."

"For a young band, these London, ON natives have produced an EP of surprising maturity. Their debut shows off their hard rock, funk, and soulful influences quite nicely. Strong musicianship and forceful Vedder-Cornell tinged vocals provide a powerful engine for the music."
Snob's Music (Toronto)

"Say Domino is a unique London, Ontario band…They meld an interesting combination of groove rock, art rock and funk, among other genres/sounds…The guys have put out 5 diverse, driven, and eclectic songs in their Who’s We? EP…There is a rawness to the sound, which is not surprising considering the EP was recorded live off the floor, and it probably gives you a good idea of how strong they may sound live…I expect to hear great things about these guys. If this is how they sound only 3 years into their formation with all 3 members being under the age of 20, I expect them to sound even better with time. "
Buying Shots For Bands (Toronto)

".super ground-breaking and experimental rock that's hard to find a comparison to." Kat Dornian, CJSW (Calgary)
