Kim Simmonds began Savoy Brown began in 1965 and became one of the architects of the British Blues Invasion which infused blues into rock and roll. Savoy Brown has had a storied roster of musicians including 3 of the 4 original Foghat members, as well as ex members going on to play with the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Kinks, U.F.O, Black Sabbath and many others.
