Sara McAllister

I'm Sara McAllister and I am the Pheetown Girl. I was born here in this desert and I could never stop loving it, even when it is 114 degrees in the shade. Long before I picked up a guitar I studied classical double bass, with incredible teachers like Barry Olson who was the long standing principal bassist of the Phoenix Symphony. After all those years of playing a bunch of dead guy's creations, I decided it was time to make my own. I taught myself to play guitar and started writing away. A few years ago I recorded my first album, Pheetown Girl, and now I'm ready to take what I do out on the road. I hope to see you at a show. In the meantime pick up a copy of Pheetown Girl.
