Sarah Levecque Band

Sarah Levecque is a singer songwriter guitarist. A Maine native, she now resides in Massachusetts with her guitarist partner Peter Zarkadas. Her music lives where Rock, Country, Blues and Folk traditions find common ground.
Classical piano training in her youth took some unexpected turns and led her to the strong influences of Blues players like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Country influences such as Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons.
"Crooked with Me", the title song of Sarah's 2008 CD release evokes complicated romance born in whiskey stained barrooms. Crooked with Me is getting radio airplay in the US, Europe and Australia. Currently working on her next release, Sarah is playing rooms all over New England and charming listening audiences with her engaging and plainspoken style.
