Sarah Callander

Sarah has been playing guitar since she was around twelve, and has shown some improvement in that area. She became a singer at around ten when she would lock herself in her wardrobe with a tamborine, a microphone and her New Kids on The Block keyboard and record (later known as the 'Wardrobe Sessions').



Sarah impressed both herself and one or two other people when she began gigging more frequently around Melbourne, after her earlier career as an MC in New Zealand. She applies herself well in both folk/rock genres and the electronic area, where she is showing some promise in her recent cubase productions.



She has continued to progress well in music, although her shyness often holds her back from contributing. If she puts in the time and effort required, and manages to get some self esteem, it is likely that Sarah will once more move her music out of the bedroom (or kitchen, now known as the "kitchen sessions"), and back into public.



Sarah has shown much resilience and tenacity in continuing to complete musical assignments, despite a many difficult personal struggles involving both sickness, and loss.



All in all, she's doing ok, but should really attempt to contribute more to class discussions, and speak out loud occasionally, not just to herself.
