I'm trying to ride my life without relying on props too much and it's difficult at times; that's what my songs are about. They're about being different, love & loneliness. Some of the time I think I know what's going on, other times I'm so far away from it, I'm barely visible. Its the most satisfying feeling in the world when you hit on a skeleton of a song; life is good and full of possibilities. The next stage is fulfilling like a good harvest, pleasure in knowing you have time to coax out melodies and lyrics to entwine around the notes, being gently eased out by patience & trust. The honeymoon period disappears soon after the song is complete. Then you have to start again by locating the thread of the next one, in the darkness wearing boxing gloves.
