Sandra di Amante takes the next step in her international career. Her debut album as a solo artist, titled



"Who's Fooling Who", co-written by her and Stefan Örn and mixed by world known mixer and this year's nominee at the US Grammys Niklas Flyckt, will be released this autumn.



Sandra is spiritual, looks upon herself as "an instrument for something else".
Sandra's vocal style and musical genre hasn't been a straight line through the years. Sandra started singing classic soul, went through a period of heavy grunge and Nirvana-inspired rock, then turned to hiphop and R'n'B – to end up with today's storytelling folkrock.

No wonder Sandras songs are emotional, expressive and sometimes with a melancholy streak. Sandra di Amante didn't have an easy journey. She was born in 1980, grew up in Malmö with her mother who suffers from mental illness. So, early life for Sandra was not very comfortable.
She still lives in Malmö, but has had her creative and professional home in Stockholm since upper secondary school in her teens, when she first attended the Royal Swedish Ballet School, then music school Rytmus. She quit them both.

The title track "Who's Fooling Who" is a contemporary song reflecting on childhood memories.
"My mama always told me to be brave. She said, 'Don't be like me I have been a slave".
The track "Rest In Sanity" is an acapella that features Sandra's heartrenching voice and painstakingly honest lyrics.
