Depuis 1990, accompagnateur recherché des plus grands du Jazz Manouche, Babik Reinhardt, Tchavolo Schmitt, Angélo Debarre. Samy présente aujourd'hui toutes les qualités et les talents d'un bon soliste.

En 2008, porté par la confiance de ses « pères », il passe à l'étape supérieure : créer sa formation. Il teste son projet au Festival « Jazz In Marciac » et reçoit un accueil plein de promesses du public.
Entouré de David Gastine (guitare rythmique et chant) et de Claudius Dupont (contrebasse), Samy révèle ses talents de compositeur, et d'arrangeur dans la finesse du phrasé et la subtilité harmonique. Il apporte une nouvelle couleur au style, moderne, tonique, surprenante, tout en rendant hommage à la tradition du genre.
Since 1990, he studied with and accompanied the greatest musicians the likes of Raphaël Fays, Angelo Debarre, Tchavolo Schmitt and of course, Babik Reinhardt. Samy has developed all the qualities and skills of a grand solo player. He will, in turn lead numerous young musicians amongst them David Reinhardt who he will help to take over the family tradition.

Together with David Gastine (rythmic guitar and vocals) and with Claudius Dupont (bass), Samy shows his composer's and arranger's talents in fine wording and in a subtle harmony. He brings a new color to modern jazz style, tonic, surprising as well as keeping the traditions of this style.
David Gastine holds the pompous impeccably and firmly, from whom the well assured vocal interpretations are warming and moving. Claudius Dupont the bass player dedicated to Tchavolo Schmitt has become a character of this instrument.
