Samsa a new musical color coming from Tunisia , where the marriage of Sana Sassi and Skander Guetari voices make us fly to a romantic and sensual universe… two voices that express in a deep way love, sadness, revolt, courage, insubordination…



Samsa creates its own blend of dreamy sensual world pop by combining the tunisian words on occidental chords. The favourites influences of samsa are Hédi Jouini, Zied Rahabani, The Beatles. The music of Samsa is like a kaleidoscopic images with various colors and forms gathered from all over the world: a groovy rhythmic, Occidental et oriental instruments, the singing is performed by the pure and charming voice of Sana Sassi who sings without taboos sorrows, joys of a young woman in love…



Samsa sing spoken Tunisian words, written for the majority by Sana and Skander and sing also original poems from Jlidi Aouini, Nour Hlel, Leila Mekki, Ousama Khalil and Patrick Ruiz.



In March 2007, Samsa tooks part in several festivals in Tunisia, with the 18th festival of the Tunisian music Samsa obtained the award of the best band 2007!

«Samsa» est le fruit de la rencontre entre deux artistes tunisiens résidant à Paris : Sana Sassi et Skander Guetari bercés depuis leur tendre enfance par la musique orientale et occidentale

La musique de Samsa ressemble à des images kaléidoscopiques qui revêtent de diverses couleurs des formes cueillies de par le monde : une rythmique variée, des instruments peinturés de l’Occident et de l’Orient, le tout habillant un chant en tunisois qui nous transporte dans des contrées romanesques et sensuelles… deux voix qui expriment à leur manière les états d’âme de tout un chacun…amour, tristesse, révolte, courage, insoumission…



Sana et Skander on fait plusieurs scènes dont Harmattan, Institut du monde arabe, cabaret sauvage, Bourse Saint Denis, Festival de Carthage et plusieurs live dans différents médias dont RMC-MO, TV7, Beur FM
