A little bit about me .

These days, just about all my time and energy is put into "Sam & Ruby". I love the music we make, and am excited for the year ahead. It's honest heartfelt music.it has the power to connect straight to your soul if you open up to it. I get asked a lot if I'm still going to release any new solo stuff.all I can say is a few things are in the works, and you myspacers will be the first to know about it. I run a little music company here in Nashville called Artist Revolution (Music Production/Digital Distribution/ Publishing) About to sign the first writer to the Publishing division. Always looking to be of assistance to talented artists.been down the road and have learned quite a bit. I love sharing the ins and outs of the "music business" with aspiring musicians. Look for the Digital Distribution Site to launch October of '08.

"Nashville artist Brooker plays a funkier version of the blue eyed R&B pop which has made Maroon 5 and Jason Mraz million sellers."

Quote From Mike Farley

“Ain’t Love Something,” Sam Brooker (The Hipper Side of Nashville)

This is one of the prettiest songs you’ve probably never heard before, because Brooker is still a relatively unknown artist in Nashville (and no, he’s NOT country). This song should be on a movie soundtrack, and it’s my mission to make sure it lands on one.

Voted Best Local Songwriter Award (2003 & 2005)
