From the moment Samedy (pronounced Sam-me-D) first gripped a pen or breathed on the mic, artist feelings were soon to be hurt and ears were soon to be blessed. Originally from the war torn country of Cambodia, finding his way, only by chance to the south west side of Atlanta, in a time when cocaine was king, Sammy Sam had beef wit Kilo and Metropolitan Parkway was better known as Stewart Avenue. Samedy soon realized that.

Shit let me stop this 3rd person perspective talk haha. Cant nobody tell you about me better than me. So to keep thangs simple and forward. Im just one man tryin to make something outta myself and hopefully others in the process. I would be fool-hearted to think i can save the world, but if i could change just one person for the better than my purpose would be met.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------



My first love has always been art, but i also got a passion for the pen. So allow me to express myself and if u feel what i feel, come take a ride wit meand dont worry bout gas, i got a full tank. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------



Im pretty fed up with the bullshit that i hear out now, so i take it upon myself to make something outta of my music. Im sure im not the only one that feels this way, but how many others are going to actually get off they ass and do somethin about it? I put my heart and soul into whateva it is i write. Reflecting on experiences and issues that i have dealt with, politically, racially, morally, etc. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------



I grew up on down south rap, so thats where my main influences lie, from Sammy Sam to Scarface, UGK to Eightball and MJG, Too $hort to Tupac. Im also an old school head, that era had alot more soul and love in the music. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------



As far as the music thang goes, im a poet by nature. I still perform at open mics fo spoken word sometimes. I can write bout anything, but that dont mean im goin to sell my soul talkin bout how much dope i sold or people i killed. Music is entertainment, but we as entertainers gotta be true to ourselves before we can be true to our fans.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
