BIGMAMA was formed on 2002.

called POP PUNK / EMO band with strings.

they has been sold 2,000 copies of DEMO-CD as D.I.Y.

in July of 2006, they released 1st Mini Album 「SHORT FILMS」from RX-RECORDS as a second artists following RIDDLE. and it has been sold over 8,000 copies.

in October of 2006, they halted at a while.

in February 10, 2007 at LIQUIDROOM, they got new member and reopened.



they will release New single on June 6, 2007.



2002年東京にて結成。バイオリンを擁した5人編成のロックバンド。

2006年UK PROJECT内RX-RECORDSにて7月5日にミニアルバム「short films 」(RX-006）を発表。同年10月、メンバーの脱退によりしばらくの間、活動を休止。

2007年2月10日恵比寿LIQUID ROOMにて新メンバー安井 英人（bass）、東出 真緒（violin）を迎え活動を再開。

2007年6月6日に3曲入りのシングル「BOYS DON' T FLY」（RX-011）、9月5日に2曲入り限定シングル「Neverland」（RX-013 Sold out）、そして、待望の1stフルアルバム「Love and Leave」（RX-015）を発表し、25000枚以上のセールスを記録。

同年、ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2008、SUMMER SONIC 08、Re:mixなどの夏のフェスにも出演。

9月17日には3rdシングル「Weekly Fairy Tale」（RX-022）をリリースし、オリコンインディーズチャート1位、オリコンシングルチャート初登場43位を獲得。

そして待望の2nd Album「Dowsing For The Future」を12月3日にリリースし、全国ツアー「ここ掘れワンワンツアー2009」を大成功させる。

2009年11月4日3rd Album「and yet it moves〜正しい地球の廻し方」リリース。リリースツアーもSOLD OUT続出で、ファイナルの赤坂ブリッツはものの数分で即完した
