"Rusher, real name Daniel Ruczko, is fast establishing himself as one of Germany’s hottest drum
& bass talents, with releases on Barcode Recordings, Citrus and Trust In Music to name but
a few. Hailing from Bremen, he started DJing and producing drum & bass in the early 2000s,
developing a dark, hard-edged style that combines the depth of a cinematic score with precision
production standards inspired by the likes of Phace and Noisia. Rusher’s high energy DJ sets
have torn up every major drum & bass event in Germany and his DJ schedule has taken him
across Europe from Hungary to Spain and Poland.

Signing to Barcode Recordings in 2005, Rusher drew massive acclaim with his first release, ‘The
Suffering’, following this success with tracks on Citrus Recordings, Close2Death and Disturbed.
Listeners are now eagerly awaiting forthcoming Rusher releases on Fallout Recordings and Trust
In Music that are sure to raise the bar again. In addition, he’s working with a string of top drum
& bass producers on some awe-inspiring collaborations and remixes.

A lot of listeners discovered Rusher thanks to his mixing series ‘The Repercussion’, started
in 2004 to showcase the best in deep, dark drum & bass. He always works to the highest
production standards, involving renowned voiceover artists Don LaFontaine and Jonathan Cook
to create original intros and trails for the series, which continues to inspire massive respect from
listeners on iTunes and elsewhere.

As well as producing drum & bass, Rusher is a very versatile artist, working on movie scores
and dubstep tracks and producing rap beats for a dazzling array of hip hop artists. Collaborators
so far have included Apathy, Jus Allah (of Jedi Mind Tricks), Maylay Sparks, Planetary (of
OuterSpace), Supastition, Reef The Lost Cauze and many more.

Rusher shows no sign of slowing down in his quest to create the heaviest underground music,
educating audiences with his trademark melancholy vibes while always blending the deepest
and darkest sounds."
