DESCRIPTION:
Got this old Columbia phonograph motor and it was a wreck. Completely rusted into pretty much one solid piece. After some considerable cleaning and scraping, replacing the governor springs, and replacing the mainspring, I put it back together, cranked it up, and it worked! Yee-Haaa!
Still exhibits heavy pitting from the corrosion, but the brass gears were worn but intact. Love it when things work!
