Run With The Kittens have played almost 800 shows in their 7 year career. Their weekly Tuesday night residency at the historic Cameron House was a must see event, promising a fresh, entertaining night of great music, week after week. After a mighty stretch of playing every Tuesday for 5 years the Kittens moved on to focus their efforts on playing bigger shows less often in Toronto and cultivating monthly residencies in other places in southern Ontario such as Guelph and Kitchener. Winning new fans with each gig is a testament to the contagious energy of the band.

"The best live band I have seen in 20 years." says Terry Brown (engineer for Donovan & Hendrix, Producer for Max Webster and Rush). Terry engineered/mixed and produced the follow up to Run With The Kittens self titled debut, entitled “Condos and Lofts”, released on March 16th, 2007 at the Horse Shoe and their third album "Bangers and Mash" released Sept. 14th 2007 also at the Horse Shoe Tavern. Sometimes comparisons to Beck or Ween or maybe the Pixies pop up from time to time, but they tend to wear off within a few songs. The same "modern" sound and approach is there, though. It's a mash up of 20th century popular music. Bossa Nova, stadium rock, disco, hip-hop, children's songs, lounge jazz and grooving instrumentals all appear in a usual Run With The Kittens set. The real strength of the band is they not only manage to keep the average listener's attention through the changes in a set, but their passion and enjoyment in their delivery makes being dragged along for the laugh-out-loud ride inevitable.

With their old school bus (that is sadly no longer), Run With The Kittens have taken their razor-sharp show on the road, halfway across Canada to Halifax. The have also taken their show to Holland in the fall of 2008 where they were enthusiastically welcomed. Their most recent record titled "Cad Gold Jr." (named after one of Toronto's most infamous slime balls) was released at the Horse Shoe Tavern on Sept. 12 2008. This record explores the more electronic and dancey side of this versatile band.

In the spring of 2010 the Kittens will throw another big party releasing their 5th studio effort to date titled "Myth in the Sky", a five song EP showcasing the maturity of the band as not only quick witted, gifted musicians, but great song writers as well.
