The Rulers

“The Rulers” are a rock band formed by Noah DeRule. The band had gone on two national tours, and made a trip out to Hollywood, CA as part of the International Pop Overthrow Festival. Noah also won 1st place in the John Lennon songwriting contest for his song "World I left Behind" and recently won an award for Best Soundtrack at the NY Indie film and video festival . Noah has songs featured on the new TV series "Tanner's Point" as well as several indie movies and compilation CD's including Yesterday Girl Records "Pop Under the Surface Vol.3, International Pop Overthrow Vol. 10, Yellow Pills E.P., Punk Plastic vol. 1, and Tower Records ALLGOOD compilation 03. The Rulers have played with members of the Goo Goo Dolls, River City High, Material Issue, The Parasites, Get up Kids, Rancid, Fastball, Journey, Old 97s, Gin Blossoms, the Refreshments, Urge Overkill, Semisonic, and many others.
